Working principle of diaphragm compressor

A reciprocating compressor that compresses and transports gas by reciprocating motion of the diaphragm in the cylinder. The diaphragm is clamped by two limiting plates along the periphery and forms a cylinder. The diaphragm is driven by hydraulic pressure to move back and forth in the cylinder, so as to realize the compression and transmission of gas. It has the characteristics of large compression ratio, high pressure and good sealing.


Diaphragm compressor is a combination of two systems - hydraulic oil system and gas compression system. The metal diaphragm completely separates the two parts


Gas compression system: the gas compression system includes three-layer metal diaphragm and gas inlet and outlet valves.


Hydraulic oil system: the hydraulic oil system includes a crankshaft, piston and connecting rod driven by the motor. Through the reciprocating motion of the piston, the hydraulic oil pressure is generated to push the bottom diaphragm to the gas side, so as to compress the gas and discharge the gas. Another component of the hydraulic system is the compensation oil pump, check valve and pressure regulating valve to ensure that the hydraulic oil system is always filled with hydraulic oil during the compression cycle. In the process of compression, the check valve separates the hydraulic oil from the compensation oil pump to prevent the hydraulic oil from flowing back. At the same time, the pressure regulating valve controls the hydraulic oil pressure to form the pressure of the hydraulic oil system.
