Cause analysis of compressor oil circuit fault

After the diaphragm compressor is started, the oil pressure shall be adjusted first. After it is normal, open the inlet and outlet air valves of the compressor to adjust the air pressure. Observe the exhaust temperature of diaphragm compressor. If the compressor works normally, the exhaust outlet pipeline is hot.


Oil circuit fault


1. The oil pressure of oil cylinder is too low or no oil pressure, but the exhaust pressure is normal.


1.1 the pressure gauge is damaged or the damper is blocked. The pressure cannot be displayed normally.


1.2 the oil drain valve is not tightly closed. Tighten the handle of the oil drain valve and check whether there is oil discharge from the oil return pipe. If any oil is drained, replace the oil drain valve.


1.3 check and clean the check valve under the oil drain valve.


2. The oil pressure is too low or there is no oil pressure, and there is no exhaust pressure.


2.1 the oil level in crankcase is too low. The oil level should be maintained between the upper and lower scale marks.


2.2 there is gas in the oil in the oil cylinder. At this time, vent the gas with the screw under the oil pressure gauge until the bubbles in the drain pipe disappear, or open the pressure reducing valve on the upper part of the diaphragm head to discharge the gas in the oil chamber, and then close the pressure reducing valve.


2.3 the seal of diaphragm inlet check valve and oil pressure gauge check valve is not tight. Stop the machine to repair the check valve or replace it.


2.4 abnormal operation of pressure regulating valve. The valve port is worn and the spring fails. When the valve or valve seat of the pressure regulating valve is damaged, deposited or dirty, the sealing between the valve seat and the valve will be damaged, so that the oil volume and oil pressure in the oil chamber cannot meet the normal working requirements, resulting in the failure of the compressor. The faulty parts shall be repaired or the damaged parts shall be replaced in time;


2.5 the oil pressure compensation pump is damaged. When the makeup oil pump works normally, pulse vibration can be felt at the outlet. If there is any problem, first check whether there is gas in the pump, open the vent screw and discharge the gas; Whether the oil inlet filter is blocked; Clean the oil filter; If the compensation pump still does not work, remove the bearing end cover and check whether the plunger rod is stuck when starting up. If it is stuck, remove it for cleaning until the plunger rod moves freely. If the oil is not drained or the oil is drained but there is no pressure, check and clean the oil inlet and discharge valves of the compensation oil pump. If there is no change after inspection, check whether the plunger and plunger sleeve are seriously worn in time, and replace the worn parts in time.


2.6 the piston ring is worn. If the oil pressure is still insufficient, the above parts work normally. Finally, excessive wear of the piston ring should be considered. Cause serious oil leakage. Check, repair or replace the piston ring. Replace the cylinder liner when the cylinder liner is seriously worn.


3. The oil pressure is too high


Adjust the pressure reducing valve to make the oil pressure normal. If the oil pressure suddenly rises too high during the use of the compressor, consider whether the valve core of the pressure regulating valve is stuck, remove the pressure regulating valve for cleaning, check or replace parts.
